We’ve been big fans of TONK for some time, you can check them out on the unearthed website.

Loved TONK at The Basement 🙂

Forgot to say – Congratulations to TONK!

Not my kind of music, but they’re a good, tight, rocky band. I hope they do well!

“If we’re going to allow simpsons as sitcom then family guy, and south park too?”

Knoath!

+ Daria.

To quote Wiki.

“a situation comedy has a storyline and ongoing characters in, essentially, a comedic drama. The situation is usually that of a family, workplace, or a group of friends through comedic sequences.”

God, how did I forget this!

WEEDS!

“Seinfeld, Arrested Development, Modern Family, 30 Rock, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Louie and arguably…The Simpsons.”

+ M.A.S.H, Frasier, Rosanne, South Park, Futurama, Malcom in the Middle, Everybody Hates Chris, Bewitched, Get Smart… yeah, those Americans, couldn’t write a sitcom to save their lives.

“The prosecution rests…(With the exception of the Simpsons which I believe don’t fit the sitcom bill.)”

Simpsons not sitcom! perhaps you need to look up the definition of sitcom.

If we’re going to allow simpsons as sitcom then family guy, and south park too?

The words excellent, US and sitcom do not belong on the same sentence. Otherwise, good on Tonk!

lol @ philly, how can you not love a show that features Danny DeVito on acid. That show is pure genius.

Never heard of this band until this, and glad I did. After listening to them I feel like I’ve just been fisted by a Russian tank! AWESOME.

They’re even better live.

Grocers apostrophe’s now? For shame!

The best way for Canberra bands to get national radio attention is to have their music burned by s***ty American television shows.

And I’m sure TONK would agree that Steel Panther are a great conduit for their ripped music.

Having just been made aware of Tonk’s existance through this fine journal, I have just now bought their album “Sister Switchblade” through a popular music download service.

F*** How I met Your Mother – we had SBS’s now defunct ‘Costa’s Garden Odyssey’ play our track, literally note for note without permission…
