Another year races away from us and the first Mully Cup for 2013 has been judged and awarded to Hoyts Belconnen for their crackdown on tightarses.

The Mully Cup is awarded monthly to the entity stimulating the most comment on this website. It is named in memory (if not in honour) of Justin Mully Williams who both improved our world, and set the record for comments, in his departure.

For those unfamiliar with the Mully Cup we did record its creation and here’s a picture of the finished Mully:

I thought it might be Simon and his bag ban. We probably don’t need another Mully for one of those, though.

Aww, I was hoping Andrew Kefford’s vomitous Deakin McMansion would get the guernsey this month.

Yes, me too. A uniquely Canberran thread. The owners of ugly, uninsulated 1970’s brick veneers declaring themselves the arbiters of good taste and environmental responsibility. Every other major city in Australia would say WTF?

It’s not often that you get to indulge in one of the seven deadly sins (envy), yet still claim the moral high ground. A lot of people managed it on that thread.

Ooh, it must have been a damned close run thing with the ‘Like Canberra’ voting site thread, and follow ups. I wonder how Charnwood is going in the voting.

So being a rational human being who chooses to pay $2.50 for a coke rather than $6.00 for the same drink makes your a tight arse? I call it sensible.

Aww, I was hoping Andrew Kefford’s vomitous Deakin McMansion would get the guernsey this month.
