The ABC brings word that Brumbies utility and compulsive kicker of the ball is leaving the team and going to Melbourne where between Huxley and the ever more aged Stirling Mortlock they’re going to have an exceedingly pedestrian back line.
Having nursed Huxley on the sideline while he recovered from a brain tumour the Brumbies will probably feel a bit disappointed.
On the other hand after the shocker he had against the Crusaders, maybe not so much.
In other news, the only functioning part of the coaching staff (Owen Finegan and Bill Young in the forwards) are leaving the club and Rocky Elsom is reportedly waiting to see what the coaching structure will be before he decides on taking the second year option on his contract.
