RugbyHeaven reports that Julian Huxley has had enough of being a kicking coach, feels his brain tumour is clearing up nicely, and is thinking about returning to the field.

“I haven’t completely put it to bed. I’ll certainly not put any timeframe on it at the moment, considering I haven’t done all my due diligence.” The due diligence will include an appointment with an oncologist on Wednesday, with more chemotherapy likely to be part of the recovery.

I do hope that he is allowed back on the field. This is the kind of grit and determination that I would want my kids to look up to. The man has proven that if you fight hard enough, you can achieve great things.

Best of luck to him. A fine, fine Rugby player & from all reports (& as demonstrated in how he’s handled himself in regards to the brain tumour) a stand-up guy as well.
