Hyatt's big purchase?

Rumour has it the management of the Hyatt Hotel are considering buying the Albert Hall, an historic site adjacent to the hotel.

I think is they do buy, it could only be an improvement on the lax maintenance regime that is currently allowing the Hall to languish in its old age.

Who owns the Albert Hall then? I had always assumed it was the Hyatt!!!

Ooh – perhaps then it would be the site of some nice masquerade balls and jazz nights, instead of cheap sheet sales.

I don’t believe they’re going to buy it, as it’s not for sale – but they are considering bidding for the long term lease on it, which has been put up for tender. Apparently tenders are supposed to include a plan for maintaining/refurbishing the hall.
