I Am The Pearce. The most pointless thing on the internet? Or High Art? [With Poll]

I’ll confess to being a bit torn by this Vlog.

It’s screamingly pointless and narcissistic, yet strongly local, and features a killer set of star trek memorabilia in the background.

It occurred to me that the form was much like that of Garfield Minus Garfield. Is the emptiness in fact art?

I’ll leave that for readers to decide.

This is narcissistic? You obviously haven’t seen John Moulis’s fitness video on YouTube where he says “My body is friggin’ awesome” before taking his shirt off.

Here’s the link to his “my body is friggin’ awesome” video:

Haha, that has got to be some of the most hilariously bad nutritional advice I’ve ever seen.

Apparently toasted sandwiches filled with peanut butter, seafood extender and cheese slices are the secrets to an impressive physique.

Well it works for him …

I’d attribute that to his leisurely lifestyle, rather than good nutrition.

Yes, this made my tempeh burger taste quite acceptable.

Does this explain why you’re in this gig? 😉

If it does then it isn’t working!

We’re more an information/entertainment service with a social component.

Oh…

Meh. I’ve seen better lego collections than that. And at the risk of sounding old, what is the point of this verbal diarrhoea??

The point of most social media is to get strangers to tell you you’re pretty.

Bugger

Another case of NBPE.

Thanks Roundhead89. The video I watched probably did a lot more for vegetarianism than John Moulis might have anticipated.

there’s narcissistic and then there’s nauseating.

And he manages to score high in both!

I’ve had a bad day and want to make it worse. Link please?

I just looked up ‘John Moulis’ and the shirts themselves were enough to make me feel a little odd. There seem to be thousands of videos. And in some he seems to be in his underwear from the beginning, singing Eagles songs. If my voice were like that, I’d stick to the Bee gees.

I would love to experience the moment of transition, without watching too much more.

He’s done a few videos on this theme and he takes off his shirt in all of them. He has several different YT channels. His health and fitness channel is:

http://www.youtube.com/user/JohnMoulis?feature=mhee

This channel also includes videos about workplace bullying he experienced at Dept of Defence in the 1990s.

I do wonder if the blonde who went to the Hobbit in one video was under duress, or perhaps lost a bet.

Bit of a cheapskate, takes own massive water bottle to see a dodgy 3D viewing of Hobbit instead of say, splurging on the Dendy Lounge.

Blue tinted background on YouTube channel screams something, not sure what exactly but it’s not good whatever it is.

Oh, one of those? The drama kids I went to college with ended up an extremely mixed bag. Hope he ends up on the right side of the law/mental health services.

What’s worse than reading on a social media site about the mundane things a stranger has done recently…? Watching them do it via video.

Poor guy.

Probably still lives with his parents, has perhaps only just finished school and hasn’t yet realised that the majority of people in the world don’t give a ____ about him because they’re too busy with their own lives.

Let’s live while we’re young…
