ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to an armed robbery of the IGA Supermarket in Nicholls early this morning (Saturday, June 15).
Around 7.45am, a man entered the IGA store armed with a firearm threatening staff and demanding cash.
The staff members complied, handing over a sum of cash before the offender left the store.
The offender is described as Caucasian with an Australian accent. He is about 183cm (6’) tall with a stocky build. He is believed to be mid 30’s.

Anyone who was in the vicinity of Nicholls shops at the time of the incident and may be able to assist police is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or via www.act.crimestoppers.com.au. Information can be provided anonymously.
