makes summernats fireworks look insignificant.

Definitely thunder at around 2.00 a.m. Shook the false teeth right out of my mouth, dog shat himself.
-Must have been like that in Baghdad I guess.

it was quite loud sounded like a sonic boom or something oh well nothing broke and my place is quite sound anyway bit it was still cool

I think that was just thunder, but it certainly rattled the windows. Loudest thunderclap I’ve heard in a while.

oh yeah theere was an article in the CT some days ago, did anyone hear 2 great big explosion type sounds in the gunghalin area last night around 1.30-2.00am it woke me up, must be the boys at Majura FFR

Yeah, I heard that the other day bonfire – something like double the road toll for this time last year?!

excellent electrical storm last night.

sat out on the front step at 11ish watching it for awhile.

considering the increase in road deaths and rain this year, could the two be related ?

*giggle*
So very true!

My kind of photo.
Probably because Northbourne usually looks like that to me, after I’ve had a few on a Friday night.

I realise that. It just looks like fire.
but yeah it’s pretty awesome

It’s the streetlights refracting through the very heavy rain, but thanks, I liked it!

Interesting lighting, looks like the whole things surrounded by fire.
