On Saturday 08-APR-06 we did the Civic Public Art Walking Tour and lived to tell the tale.

And so, I present to you item # 22, Untitled by Frank Hinder. If you walk up the steps to David Jones’ City Walk entrance, and look up, you can find it.

I thought the ceiling had caught some nasty disease from having unprotected sex.

I love this one. I took a photo of this in photography for a school assignment years and years ago. I thought it was part of the architecture, rather than an artwork, but I still love it. I think it has aged really well – it must be from the 60s I think. Anything like this is better than dull concrete bunker type buildings.

I really wish it had a title. It’d be hilarious to see what he came up with.

oh but the best is yet to come!

As interesting as this series has been, it has confirmed to me how ridiculous and crap modern art is.

Simply craptacular – in an endearing kitsch sort of way.
