Anna Key has sent in this picture with the following note:

This was taken last Monday evening. After two holding circuits we landed at a very wet airport. Note the abandoned equipment at the plane next to us. The ground crew were sheltering due to lightning so we had to wait a while in the aircraft for it to clear.

Good catch

thanks – there wasn’t much else to do! And yes, it was a double rainbow, but wasn’t easy to get through three layers of perspex and a lot of rain on the window.

BTW, possibly the last photo taken waiting at the old Qantas terminal (ah the memories….)

OMG the end of the wing is bent up. Offshore maintenance must be to blame.

Very nice photo!

Good catch

I saw the awesomeness of double rainbow from Griffith shops

From this photo it looks like there must be two pots of gold Queanbeayan way – that’ll buy a whole lot of beer & thongs!!!

It’s God repairing one of the left hand Rolls Royce engines.

Great catch! We saw that rainbow from Lyneham … it was a beauty. Poor QANTAS, shame the pot-O-gold isn’t in their fleet at the moment 🙂

Forget Rolls Royce engines, Qantas will be hoping the fact one of their jets can be found at the end of a rainbow is a sign things are on the improve!

LOL at the Double Rainbow reference too! For those playing at home who may have missed the live action, click here first and then here.

Is that a double rainbow? OMG OMG OMG! I think it might be…
