Pommie Bastard was up on top of Mt Painter this morning and sent in this shot.

LOL!!

With John’s permission I can send in that image, but cropped so the horizon is level.

The trees will be growing at a bloody odd angle, but at least the horizon will be level!!

Thanks for the kind words, much appreciated.

PB, is your left leg shorter?

I think your pictures are great, and I love polarising filters and the striking cloudscapes they make.

Camera body; Canon EOS 450D, bog standard 18-55mm lens, polarising filter, shot as RAW filetype.

8.30 am today 24/4/09.

Post processing of RAW image in photoshop CS3, mainly for curves and saturation levels.

*looking about* So, who wants to mention the horizon?

ROFL, not me

I got in trouble in the HDR thread.

It is a nice picture and I love the effort you goto to take these photos.
The geek in me likes to ask Camera Body, Lens questions time of day etc.

My thanks Granny, that’s high praise indeed.

Sweeping, majestic, windswept skies! That’s how it looks to me, anyway. The atmosphere kind of reminds me of the moors. You’d almost expect Heathcliff and Cathy to come rambling over the crest of that hill ….

You have a flair for seeing the art in life, PB.

: )

Foreboding…

Oh wait, it’s just the rain.
