Images of Canberra - Things hotting up at the National Archive?

The sign really was stolen on Australia day, in daylight. My weekend staff saw the culprits pull up in the truck (for reference, the very same truck in the photo) however they did not get outside in time to yell blatant abuse at them. And in their haste the male that grabbed the sign lost his beer, stubby holder and shoe (for reference it was a thong – typical).

Now I am left without a sign. Whoever dares bring me this sign they will be compensated for their troubles. Perhaps a new private release, or if your taste varies don’t worry I have a bit of everything.

Although this subject has taken a turn, I feel it is a positive turn. Here is a quote pulled from the Canberra Times, a feature printed in Panorama with a follow up of my views,

( the article goes on to describe how Canberra should not be taking itself so seriously, to lighten up and take advantages of popular tourist attractions, such as Adult stores to help bring more people and money into Canberra).

Given that, I think photographing an Adult store sign that was located on Australia day, at the Australia day live concert really does have its advantages for everyone especially when it is posted on the internet. Woot!
