The point is to make more freely available (nice) pics of Canberra available on the web. Means people link to `em and raises the profile of the capital. Not your job, granted, but a little reflected glory on the riotact can’t be a bad thing (link back to this site from the description of the pic?). Plus, don’t you get to then use a direct link to the picture on wiki commons and thus save bandwidth? Don’t know if that is frowned upon or not.

Plus you get to be seen to be “doing the right thing”, contributing something back to the sweaty morass that is the internet.

Whadevs. Just an idea.

Those pears (can’t remember if they’re manchurian pears or the other sort) are looking brilliant right now. Blazing bright red. And interestingly, you’ll get better colour on a dull day like today… there’s plenty of light, but no glare.

I like being back in the parly triangle at this time of teh year, teh trees are just stunning, yellows and reds everywhere, and graceful buildings. The Petunias of Queanbeyan just can’t compete. Also, there’s no burnt-up trees here.

A lovely photo of a torture location….I do sprint training along that exact stretch twice a week. 🙂
