Mr Stanhope is planning upgrades to playgrounds at Ashburton Circuit, Kaleen; Tauchert Street, Chapman; Morgan Place, Curtin; Jeffries Street, Gowrie; De Little Circuit, Greenway; and Bayley Place, Macarthur.

His Chiefliness is looking for community views on what should be done to them by 24 September and says there’s a feedback form somewhere on the TAMS website.

I’ve got to say the new playground in O’Connor is a rip-snorter for children of all ages.

“bergamont – check out the new park where Mt Neighbour primary school used to be in Kambah.”

I’m not sure how that helps bergamont’s frustrations with the lack of Northside offerings?

bergamont – check out the new park where Mt Neighbour primary school used to be in Kambah. It’s tucked behind the pre-school that’s still standing and kind of over shadowed by all the building works going on there, but it’s awesome! It even has a spinning spider web, climbing walls, swing + baby swing, basketball hoop, bizzare exercise equipment and shaded picnic table. Really good for the littler kids.

Bigger kids may like the new park at Rivett behind Noah’s Ark. That one has a BBQ too.

Parks these days are getting SO much better. Too many parks built in the 90s are lame ass space wasters. Thank goodness they are moving away from the tooth chipping springy animals and ‘oh so fun’ noughts and crosses boards.

Gawd, I hope they upgrade the Adventure playground soon also. It’s a bit yawn inducing compared to it’s glory days.

Playground in Australia are sissified.

New Zealand knows how to throw a kids party. Flying foxes, death slides, all sorts of things that will maim and thrill kids and their parents.

We need massive trampolines, huge human catapults aimed towards the lake, things that rotate at nauseating speeds and fling people off them, mazes that require emergency phones and flare guns, and forts stocked with lots and lots of dirt bombs.

Wet litigious parents need to be sent away to Nauru, and our way of life will no longer be threatened.

why only one northside? I’m feeling ripped off. Again.

Make them less attractive for teenagers with nothing to do at night with a love for mindless destruction and light things on fire.

where is the new one in O’Connor?
