What exactly is a hobo bag? I find it hard enough to find a handbag that has a strap long enough to sit the bag at my waist/isn’t covered in sequins/isn’t made out of gold material. 🙁 My last leather handbag was passed down to me from my sister, and it fell apart while I was looking for another one that met the above criteria.

The hobo gets its shape from the idea of wrapping your stuff up in a cloth and rolling it…. tha tbag in the picture is the classic shape. A better shape is your classic tote, a “normal” bag that you can sling over the shoulder and drop stuff into from the top.

Check out the Oroton shop for bags like the one you’re after, or DH Gate! (internet shop, stick it in google).

Or if you like smaller bags with long straps, look for the “baguette” style.

thanks ant, i will be sure to point that out to my wife when she puts on the ugg boots in an attempt to blend in at the hyperdome. maybe she can pick one up and the transition will be complete. (I still don’t like winnie blues and don’t wear a flannie, but these things take time…)

Must be for very upmarket hobos… I don’t see a pole with a handkerchief tied to it anywhere…

Limestone Liz … the walking, talking hitch-hiking hooker; now there’s a flashback. She gone now – I think she blew this town.

Literally!

Yuck, that is so pov looking. Hate Hobo bags anyway, pretty-well the worst shape around, I’ve never seen a stylish one.

I think we should all sue them for defamation.

*groans*

I wonder who’d be persueded to buy one. They don’t exactly have style in bags

Why were you looking for a new handbag, Johnboy?
