The ACT Ambulance Service has taken two people to hospital in a stable condition after an explosion and small fire in Isabella Plains tonight.

Intensive care paramedics were called to a home in Rushbook Circuit just before 7 o’clock.

A man in his twenties was treated for burns to his hands and a man in his fifties for smoke inhalation.

Heat from a pot belly stove is believed to have caused the explosion of an aerosol can.

These dudes must’ve just moved here from the Equator. Anyone running a pot-belly stove right now is going to be really suffering once winter starts.
