Isabella Plains home invader returns in chains

A 29-year-old Bonython man has been extradited from Queensland in relation to a home invasion which occurred at an Isabella Plains house in November 2010.

Detectives from ACT Policing Criminal Investigations travelled to Southport, Queensland, yesterday (Monday, 17 October) seeking extradition of the 29-year-old man after he was arrested by Queensland police officers.

The extradition application was approved by the Southport Magistrates Court and the man was conveyed to the ACT.

The man is expected to face the ACT Magistrates Court this morning, charged with theft, common assault, aggravated burglary and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
