It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas and the countdown is on! Have you forgotten anything important?

Christmas lunch! This year were you planning to dine at home or has the ‘chief cook and bottle washer’ firmly crossed their arms and said “Not again” very loudly? What are your options if you and your family and friends want to have Christmas lunch out somewhere? If you want to make a booking, you had better be quick as places are filling up fast. Already Pod in Pialligo; Hotel Realm and Hotel Kurrajong in Barton; and The Boat House are booked out. But do not despair – here is the best of the rest…

Most venues require pre-payment, so be ready with your credit card when you phone to book.

I regret I was stuck here “a 5 Course Degustation Lunch with champagne” ?

I was waiting for Dungers to give me his look on degustation tucker, however he’s apparently still napping so I found this on the cullinary word.

Degustation – Wikipedia
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Degustation
“Dégustation is a culinary term meaning a careful, appreciative tasting of various foods and focusing on the gustatory system, the senses, high culinary art and good company. Dégustation is more likely to involve sampling small portions of all of a chef’s signature dishes in one sitting.”

So its sort of the chefs specials. Sounds orright. In fact they all do.
Thanks for your compiling of venues. Will circulate.

Dungers doesn’t do degustation.

Dungers likes food instead.
