Jacqui Burke plays the anglo race card

Jacqui Burke has had a most peculiar dummy spit. She’s accusing Jon Stanhope of being racist to her anglo self.

Now it’s interesting that Jacqui’s waited a couple of weeks before throwing her toys out of the pram.

But at the end of the day the downside for anglos, having conquered the planet and still dominating most things going, is that everyone gets to be racist except us.

Dry your eyes princess.

(Incidentally I find the implied reverse racism of the Chief Minister a bit nauseating, but not so much as Jacqui’s whinge)

This one had be intrigued, so I read the Hansard.

Stanhope was talking about Jacqui Burke’s claim that the Ngunnawal elder Onyong (sp?) either didn’t exist or, if he did exist, had no connection to any living Ngunnawal elders. He said that a ‘prominent Ngunnawal elder’ had been offended that a migrant who travels on a foreign passport had questioned her Aboriginality.

Sounds fair enough to me. I’d be pissed off too.

One rule for us, one rule for Comrade.
