The Canberra Raiders are celebrating getting Jarrod Croker to sign up for an addition two seasons to the end of 2015:

The Canberra Raiders have received a huge boost on the eve of their clash with the New Zealand Warriors at Canberra Stadium, with Jarrod Croker re-signing with the club for a further two seasons until the end of 2015.

It caps off a huge week for the Goulburn junior as he scored the winning try and goal against the Roosters last Sunday, in his 100th game for the Raiders in the NRL.

The prolific point scorer now also sits fourth on the Raiders all time point scoring list with 590 points, sitting only behind club greats David Furner (1218), Clinton Schifcofske (1052) and Mal Meninga (864).

Croker said he was excited to be able to agree to a new deal with the Raiders and said he never wanted to play for any other club and is thrilled to stay in Canberra.

I’d have to say this is good news. The lad seems like one of the good guys.

Solid player and above the s*** that usually gets a run in the media regarding rugby league players.
