John Rogers given Tasmanian cricket contract

Cricinfo is reporting that Canberra batsman John Rogers, who scored 98 against the touring Indians last season at Manuka, has been offered a contract with Tasmania.

Rogers will join former ACT players Dave Dawson, Mark Divin and Wade Irvine in the squad.

In other news former ACT batsman/ keeper and current Australian player Brad Haddin is under an injury cloud for the third test against the West Indies at Bridgetown on 12 June.
