Last night The Greens’ Johnathan Davis (Brindabella) exercised his right as a Lego donor to get us down to Tuggeranong’s Ojo Bar. Where he worked the room masterfully.

Johnathan’s priorities included: Cleaning Lake Tuggeranong, light rail, high speed rail to Sydney, free wifi on the bus, a Government owned GP super-clinic, quality public education, commercial development, a pirate ship themed skate park, rehabilitation of public parks, improved youth services, a new youth centre, a graffiti art wall, an office with an open door, and consulting bar patrons about what they want.

But don’t take my word for it, he explains all in the video.

The next one is Karl Maftoum (Labor for Brindabella) at the Burns Kambah from 2.00pm on Sunday 1 September. The public are both welcome and encouraged to come out and join in the fun.

(Candidates who haven’t slotted themselves in are advised that there will be no candidate challenges after 28 September and we need a week’s notice, so they better get in quick, and should email john@the-riotact.com )

Here’s our nifty calendar, you the public are reminded that you’re very welcome to come along to these things:

Well done Johnathan!

Hour and a half… did he use up all the pieces? I certainly hope he didn’t give up half his time and leave a pile of pieces un-used surely……

Nice bus lol! I give Jon the award so far for most frequent tie-ins to actual party policies in everything he built and in his presentation, either he knows the Greens policy document really well or someone was giving him talking points before he did this lol.

Still I give Jon 5/5 for schooling some of the older candidates on how to build with lego and get a lot done in a short amount of time, he certainly demonstrates a familiarity with lego.

No candidate has come anywhere near close to using all the bricks. The closest (so far) to run to time was Alan Kerlin.

It’s more exhausting work than many give it credit for.

If you’re taking an interest you should come down!

That is Wendy from Bob the Builder. Wikipedia:
Wendy is the deuteragonist and Bob’s business partner who runs the office and keeps the business in order, and often organizes tools and equipment. She is also seen doing construction work in many episodes. Wendy is often worried about Bob’s cat, Pilchard, as shown in the episode Pilchard in a Pickle and in the song Find That Cat. Wendy was first voiced by Lorlei King, Kate Harbour, and then by June Whitefield.

Johnathon certainly used those non-standard pieces well. I’d only he’d talked a little more at the end! (-:

Was that a Duplo teacher? Isn’t that a little cheeky?

Pretty impressive, methinks. Certainly better-thought-out than the last one I saw!

The nature of a donated lego pile is you get some non standard pieces.
