Josh Dugan's going to need a chaffeur

The ABC reports that the Raiders’ latest enfant terrible, Josh Dugan, has lost his driving licence for 15 months:

Twenty-year-old Dugan was caught driving in excess of the 80 kilometres an hour speed limit on June 27.

In the ACT Magistrate’s Court today he pleaded guilty to driving recklessly on a suspended license, the result of unpaid fines.

Will he sort himself out? Or walk the Path Of Carney?

Could we ban rugby league? That would be nice.

No, that would mean we’d have to put up with more Fumbleball on the tv.

@peterepete – sorry, that should read re-signing.

What is a chaffeur?

@sb14 Was that resigning or re-signing?

Maybe the reason so many Raiders move to Easts is because they need to access a good public transport system.

Yeah, if no bodily fluids are involved it’s not Carney.

Hardly Carney-esque. His previous suspension was for unpaid fines. He got caught for hooning, which is naughty, but he is hardly a pioneer for 20 year olds with a taste for speed. Hopefully he now straightens up and flies right.

Its a shame his court appearance has over-shadowed his resigning with the Raiders today.

Or walk the Path Of Carney?

Well Carney didn’t do much walking and that was part of the problem…

Recklessly driving on a suspended license. So they fine him and suspend his license for a longer term. Dumb. Do ‘they’ honestly think he won’t drive with a suspended license again?
Time for some real punishment. How about weekend detention? Oh dear……..would that interfere with the sport? Poor baby.

Nah, that would unfairly interfere with his employment. Just lock him up all week, and restrict him to the same food and drink all the other guests at the hume hilton enjoy.

Who cares? really it has no impact on anyone but the person. There are a shed load of people pinged for going faster than the random number pulled out of a wax dolls bottom and placed on pole. So why is he so special – must be low on media input

Dugan had a reputation long before he played his first 1st grade game. It’s hard not to judge someone who by age 18 has large diamond earrings in each ear and relatives names splattered in ink all over his arms. Good luck to him though.
