With thanks to Culturazi for the heads-up I’m rather excited to present the latest Julia and the Deep Sea Sirens’ video Looking in from the Outside.

Without watching it I honestly never would have guessed that Nicholas Peddle, drummer extraordinaire, was the “little man in the boat

The album is available on iTunes in what I believe is a first for a Canberra artist.

UPDATE: Apologies, it seem The Tullys were first.

All credit to Koolism, but they do they still live here?

Great video! I love the Deep Sea Sirens.

I bought some of Jonno Zilber’s songs on itunes about 18 months ago but I’m pretty sure bigger Canberra acts like Koolism would have been on itunes long before any of those guys if you really want to get picky!

Congrats to Julia and all. I missed you guys on Rage last friday night. If i’d been more organised, i’d have taped it. Looking Glass were also on Rage too recently. Go Canberra bands !

That still shot makes it look like quite a cool clip too. I’ll have to wait til i get home to watch it.

or Margaret Helen King 😉

Helen Margaret King’s album has also been on iTunes since May.

I saw these guys in Garema place last week, reminded me alot of Jeff Buckley, awesome..!

It’s fantastic!!

The Tullys album “Twelve Short Stories” has been available on iTunes for a couple of months now. The track “Together” has just been selected by the Australian Defense Force to celebrate Women in Defense.

I am also a big fan of Julia and the DSS. Great Muso’s, and really, really nice people as well.

Her vocal style reminds me of Rachel Yamagata even though they sound totally different
