The Supreme Court has thrown up an interesting case in the matter of Andrew Kaye v Khawar Siddiq.

The heroic health protection office Andrew Kaye has succeeded in his appeal to have fines against the Dickson Taj Agra restaurant increased from $1,800 to $10,625.

There’s probably good money to made setting up as a private food safety auditor to help prevent these unpleasant incidents.

I must admit that i took some delight in Justice Nield giving Magistrate Dingbat a rather large serve of humble pie.One only need read para’s 21,22,45,46,48,50 and 51,although all is not lost for the Magistrate did get some things right.

Who’s giving whom curry?

Can someone please just clone Justice Nield so that we can get rid of the absolute idiots who are masquerading as judicial officers!

Oh we love a good pun, though at first glance I can’t find any mention of vomit or even food poisoning in the judgement.

However, why did it take almost a year to file the charges? That should be grounds to have them thrown out of court!
