ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to an aggravated robbery that occurred at the Caltex Service Station, O’Halloran Circuit, Kambah in the early hours of this morning (April 4).
About 1.15am, two men armed with a knives entered the service station and threatened the cashier.
The employee complied with the demands and provided the men with a sum of cash and packets of cigarettes. The two men fled the store on foot and were last seen running towards Jemke Circuit, Kambah.
The first man is described as 5’11” (180cm) in height and was wearing a grey ‘hoodie’ with a white motif on the front, beige pants and black shoes. His face was concealed by a mask.
The other man is described as around 5’11” (180cm) in height, wearing a black T-shirt with a white motif on the front, black shorts with a white stripe on the side and white sneakers. The man may have been wearing a white watch at the time.
Anyone who may have seen either of these offenders around the time of the robbery, or may have information which could assist police with the investigation is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers website on www.act.crimestoppers.com.au.
