Kanagroos in Flight

Snapped these new art sculptures out at the Canberra International Airport right next to the runway. Through some investigation the airport informed me that “Roos” is the latest sculpture from sculptor Jeff Thomson. It is the 14th installation overall through the airports commitment to public art.

So on a gloomy foggy morning they look like real roos and the unwary pilot will report them to the tower?
Are those statues of kangaroos still sitting by the roadside in Gungahlin? What a f#%ked up thing to put next to a road…

Roos? But I don’t see the former Swans coach Paul anywhere…
