Kings pull plug on Canberra

I wasn’t even aware the Sydney Kings had played four of their last season’s home games here in Canberra.

Which could explain why the Canberra Times is reporting they aren’t going to do it again.

Canberra’s remaining NBL fan is no doubt disappointed.

I went to the last game and thought it was great value. At $10 for the cheap tickets it was a cheap night out and much better bang for your buck than the Brumbies. Crowd was pretty poor though and agree that they should have spent more on advertising.

Them’s fightin’ words bonfire…..

another wannabe sport, like soccer.

i don’t think even sydney gives a crap about the kings if finals series press was an accurate indication – reporting the coach’s whingeing about lack of crowd numbers there – so why the hell would WE care about them!?

GO CAPS!

and the Gunners

I went to a kings game, but was less than compelling and i didn’t care for either team. Also, no one went.

Canberra already has a good basketball team – the Caps
