I wonder where we would rank as a nation in history if we offered criminals the chance to clear mines.
The French used livestock, and the Germans used the mentally ill and retarded.

They could have a chance to win their freedom (or death) like in the movie “The Dirty Dozen”.

We all know it would be solved with a simple game of Running Man, plus it would be way more fun than Big Brother ever was.

The latest development in this case is that the 19 year old has been bailed to return home to Griffith NSW.The accused woman was on bail for a minor shoplifting offence allegedly committed in her NSW hometown of Griffith.

Magistrate Mossop warned the defendant he would throw the book at her if she failed to show up for her next court date in November.Wow i hope it’s a really heavy book that might just knock some sense into her! 🙂

I’m not sure if the Taliban will appreciate a womans touch regarding de-mining, sterilised or not…

Oh they’d probably shoo women out ahead of them to make it safe. Just so long as they didn’t learn to defuse them from a book or anything. Then they’d have to shoot them.

And while these are serious matters, I think sterilisation or the (probable) death penalty is a tad harsh, Henry BG.

Mine clearing isn’t a “death penalty”, given adequate training and steady hands.

Sterilise them. Give them jobs clearing mines in Afghanistan.

No need to sterilise in that case.
