Labor hangs together

ABC radio has been reporting that the ALP has voted as a bloc in the Assembly to ensure no delays or effective inquiries into the future of schooling in the ACT.

Gotta love unicameral majority government.

seepi, better to vote donkey than to vote for lemming turncoats!

yeah but who else will there be – do you think save our schools will run any candidates?

CM has gone from hero (‘copter rescue) to zero. When some of the MLAs took a differing view at the conference I thought, FINALLY they are listening. But it’s reverted to a Pythonesque ‘Yes – we are all individuals’ mentality.

I ain’t voting for them this time either.

Obviously Labor doesn’t give a shit about what the parents or students or teachers of the ACT want.

When’s the next election? I want to buy Chief Numpty a “doomsday” clock.

Albert Einstein: “He who joyfully marches in rank and file has already earnt my contempt. he has been given a large brain by mistake, since for him the spinal cord would suffice”.

soft.

In terms of school closures, through their actions at the ALP Conference, Ministers Corbell and Gallagher put their faction ahead of their agreed Cabinet position. However, in the Assembly they reversed their stand and put their career ahead of their conference position. The Government members all rejected Vicki Dunn’s education motion – which used the exact words many of them had voted for at the Conference. Let’s hope they get what they deserve at the next election.

Labor will be remembered.
