Team Katy have unveiled the “realzed.com website.

ACT Labor has today launched www.realzed.com – which is a one-stop shop for Canberrans to learn about the Liberals’ lies and misinformation during this election campaign.

The website highlights the Liberals’ lies and gaffes over the past month, and their attempts to distract voters’ attention from four years of policy laziness. www.realzed.com focuses on seven key failings of the Canberra Liberals

It’s going to be a squeaker!

I am tired of the relentless partisan personal attacks from both Labor and Liberals, both locally and federally.
I wish they would debate and point out the flaws in each others policies constructively and offer suggestions on what they would like done differently, but be civil, respectful and worthy of the leadership position that the public has bestowed on them, not a bunch of school children yelling “did not!” “did too!”.

Good to see ACT Labor is spending some of the money made from the good ole pokies on something useful like the above noted website.

Can’t wait to see the ‘realkaty’ website – I hope it contains a real nice recipe for fudge!

Took me a minute. Then my afternoon coffee shot out my nose. Thanks for the laugh! 🙂

It’s a shame that after their long winter of opposition the Libs haven’t chosen policy to win the hearts and minds of Canberrans, but a fear campaign.

We deserve more and I’m sure that they’ll have 4 more years to come up with another 5 point plan…

Woah woah woah, I think Abbott’s liberals were the only people capable of “negative” campaigns. That’s what all the Labor knobs keep telling us.

Most people call it fraud. Simple as that.

It just that our leaders decided to ignore it.

Oh, and then go on and accuse the opposition of bullying over the issue.

But by all means, continue to defend the deliberate and systematic rorting of the numbers.

One wonders how many other figures have been adjusted?

I am not saying what happened was right or wrong, what I am saying is regardless there is a proper process that needs to be followed to get to the bottom of things. However on day 1 the libs were out grandstanding and making personal attacks. When things get politicised like they did then it is next to impossible to find out the real truth.

Proper process? Like when Katy sprinted for the WIN television studio to make a public announcement live to air? You remember it – the one where that moron Danielle Post (instead of asking the hard questions) finished up with ‘lovely!’ But yeah – you keep telling yourself it was the opposition that turned it into a circus and politicised it.

With less than two weeks to go, I suppose there is still time for us to be told all about how Zed has a problem with women. If/when that happens, it will be most interesting to see whether they use the Roxon formulation “has a problem with capable women” – maybe not…..

That’s very immature. Politicians are so immature. This does not make me more likely to vote Labor.

Oh you meant like the personal attack on Katy and her sister over the figure fudging issue. Yep that is 100% an attack on policy. NOT.

Serious data fraud should be let go when it involves Katy’s family?

Nope it shouldn’t, however both are well entitled to natural process, not the (unfounded) personal attacks that spewed forth from Zed and co, and in particular the stupid no confidence motion.

“(unfounded) personal attacks that spewed forth from Zed and co”…examples please?? No confidence motion about 11700+ fraudulently doctored stats that can only be seen to be politically motivated (what other reason is there??) and the KG is professionally and personally close to the one person (although there were also likely others) who put there hand up for the deed, and yet she did not declare that one bit until asked in Committee meeting I referred to above. Poor judgement from the CM I would say and something very much within the public interest! A justified no confidence motion, what else would we expect from an Opposition?

The Real Katy – sleaze, slime and lies.

Four More Years!
Four More Years!
Four More Years!

It’s good to see some fight in ACT Labor, I was a little concerned they weren’t going to call out the Libs on the nonsense and nothingness they’ve been up to for 4 years. Hopefully they can cut through the Liberal ‘triple your rates’ nonsense.

Surely someone in ACT Labor had the wit to realise that they are leaving themselves open to a web based counter-attack by the Opposition?

And with almost 12 years of less than sterling performance, any counter-attack could be damning.

This action reeks of desperation by Katy and Team.

“Wish me luck as you wave me goodbye … “

Folks, when I said mudslingers gonna mudsling, I was referring to Paul0075, whose silly comment about using taxpayer money for this was a cheap attempt at mudslinging. The site is clearly party funded.

You’d think they would have learned from the backfiring of the personal invective directed against Campbell Newman before the Queensland Labor wipeout.
Note that there is no contact, right-of-reply, or reference to any form of social media conversation. So, social media isn’t so much Katie’s schtick after all!

Mudslingers gonna mudsling.

Its utter desperation from ACT Labor. I’ve been following most of the Lib and Laborites on Twitter and I have to say, Katy, Barr and Elias et al, are very negative and personal in their attacks on a regular basis. Sure the Libs have thrown some mud, but only in relation to Policy matters, not personal stuff. I think Labor is going to go even lower in these next two weeks.

Hi JC, I understand what you are saying, and I too was concerned that it was an personal attack when I first read about it in the Crimes.

So I actually went and watched the whole of the Assembly Committee video (which I would not have known even existed if it were not for Johnboy kindly posting on this page), and what I saw was a careful set of reasonable questions from Zed and Jeremy about why the CM did not disclose that she had both a professional AND personal relationship with the person who changed 12000 plus hospital record changes. After watching the whole thing, it was hard to believe that what the CT were reporting about the next day was the same Committee hearing! At no point was KG sister implicated or attacked. The whole focus was the CM’s judgement in relation to not declaring her own conflict of interest.

I would be interested to see where you think there was a personal attack on the CM’s sister? Examples please?

As to whether there was a personal attack on Katy regarding the whole saga, again it would be good to have some examples? What I saw in the very long committee meeting video was robust questioning about one of largest cases of fraud in the history of the Territory. The questioned seemed to me highly relevant to creating a learning culture and future health policy. What else do we expect from an Opposition or cross bench? However, in this case it was only the Opposition that seemed to be interested.

I just cannot see any validity to the claim that the Libs have gone the personal on that whole thing.

The internal polling’s going well then, hey Katy?

Gutter politics. This is another example of policiticans racing to the bottom. Politics is no longer about good governance, strong policy platforms and grand ideas. It is about throwing turds like monkeys in a zoo.

Sad but true. There are no statesmen anymore; simply those yearn for power for the sake of it.

So how much of the taxpayers money was spent on this web site? Should the Liberals counteract this with one of their own, and present how many problems and failings ACT Labor has had? I am sure they could come up with a pretty hefty list as could most subscribers to this site.

You will not the flyer is an ALP flyer not an ACT Government flyer, so the answer is no taxpayer money would have been spent on it.

Mudslingers gonna mudsling.

Oh the desperation looking for something against him..

Maybe she should stop making shit up and actually look at ways to fix her party’s own failings.. There’s been many more, which have actually been massive fails in governing.
