The NCA have tweeted that at long last the water level in Lake Burley Griffin is returning to where god and Robert Menzies intended it to be.

Interesting; and now we know what Adam Richard does for a day job.

I recently made my pool turn from a disgusting green to a nice blue in preparation for the warmer months. All that was required was a whole lot of pool chlorine.

What would happen if we chlorinated the lake? Would it fix the murkiness?

I’m used to it being a murky green. Maybe the algae blooms make it look better?

Drain the thing. Remove the carp, bulldoze the trolleys, cars and bodies from it. Then let the rainfall/whatever fill it up.

We are all wondering what’s really on the bottom there.

Probably should have been done in a lead up to the centenary.

Maybe have a think what the community wants to use the area for a well.

It’s been looking as brown as the Yarra river lately…

Situation normal.

That would be occasionally due to this lovely upstream facility 😉

It has had a rather stale stench around the central basin for the last few weeks especially on windy days.
