Faster Louder brings word that Garema Place’s Landspeed Records is going to play host to the Canberra leg of International Record Store Day.

For the first time ever, Canberra’s leading independent music store Landspeed Records is getting on board with a second-hand vinyl fair on Saturday 16 April.

The inaugural International Record Store Day has celebrated independently owned music stores since its inception in 2008, with Metallica playing at San Francisco’s Rasputin Music.

Ahhh, nostalgia!

Do they have some kind of online presence so I can ‘check in’ or ‘like’? I don’t have time in my busy Gen Y life to visit a bricks and mortar store.
