ACT Policing is seeking the safe return of a black Toshiba laptop that was stolen during a burglary in Kambah on Monday night (November 14) where three youths were apprehended.
Around 7.25pm, police attended Rounsevell Street in relation to a report of a burglary.
A short time later, police located an injured juvenile male and some stolen property in a nearby alleyway.
While police recovered an amount of property that was stolen from the house, a black Toshiba laptop computer could not be located and may have been discarded by the offenders.
Police are hopeful that the computer can be located as it contains specialised hardware and software used by the victim, who suffers from cerebral palsy, to communicate with his family and friends.
Police are asking that if anyone has found a laptop computer in the vicinity of Rounsevell Street, Kambah, to return it into a police station. Alternately, the finder may ring ACT Policing Operations on 131 444 to organise its collection.
