Territory And Municipal Services have put out a release on an interesting activity at Mulligans Flat tomorrow:

“Come along and join local Aboriginal Ranger, Adrian Brown this Saturday 19 March 2011 at the Mulligans Flat Woodland Sanctuary and learn more about the hunting tools and techniques the Ngunnawal people used.” said Stephen Hughes, Manager National Parks and Reserves.

“Children over the age of 10 and adults can even learn how to throw a spear, make traditional stone tools and rope. Participants are required to wear sturdy shoes, a hat and sunscreen.

It starts at 2pm at the Mulligans Flat Woodland Sanctuary.
