Into films? Into Girls? Into Motorcycles?

Come and check out LIGHTSWITCH! The short film is debuting in Canberra this Friday, 7:30pm at the University of Canberra. The Canberran film makers have just returned from LA where it made it’s premiere to an audience of over 500 people and was very well received.

UPDATED: The trailer is now up:

ABOUT LIGHTSWITCH:
A story is more than just words on a page… and Danielle is desperately struggling for words as her final deadline draws near… It’s not until she meets Shauna that her story begins to write itself. Their instant connection and attraction take them on a challenging journey of self-discovery and inevitable angst as they fight to find who they are and struggle with what they come to mean to each other. The whirlwind romance soon turns to heartbreak as secrets surface and hard choices are made. Danielle comes to see that sometimes “a story has to be lived before it can be told”.

Starring ex Home and Away star Kylie Watson, adorable new comer Lara Dignam, and Aussie legend Jay Laga’aia, Lightswitch is a brilliant story of love and life. Check it out, support your local film makers – make a night of it!!

I’ll pass I think : )

I’m sure you’ll manage somehow ….

yea…..many years back i actually had a couple of tame lesbians…..should never have left em…….sighs

lol

I’m sorry to disappoint you young willo, but I don’t have any either! I have a couple of cousins interstate, but I don’t know that you’d find them hot exactly.

ahh… do you think you could leave me with YOUR hot lesbians instead?……cos i dont have any…..

Ok, I shall leave you with your hot lesbians, willo!

; )

umm…na….however the subject at hand here is hot lesbians on motorcycles….so stop getting off-topic ):

Yeah, but do you flirt with gay men? I bet you don’t.

You know, it’s a funny thing, but I was having dinner with the girls the other night and we got to talking (as girls do) and all of us admitted that we flirt with gay women, despite the fact that we are all straight.

Now why is that?

Yet only one of the girls felt she could actually sleep with another woman.

Go figure!

well…i reckon i’d sleep with a lesbian…..or 2…….

In VY’s absence, may I say – I only like lesbian biker chicks taking off thei leather jackets when both chicks are hot…

Shh Astrojax, don’t be a spoilsport.

i watched some alleged ‘girl on girl’ p@rn out of curiosity once and turned it off after 5 minutes, it was so ridiculous and unrealistic!

don’t give any details on what would be realistic, or you’ll really set ’em off! ; )

It has good social comment, Gungahlin Al. Rebelling against the helmet-jacket mores of society!

Why shouldn’t a girl put her jacket on last? She gets to show her singlety cleavage for longer that way, so it does makes sense!

I would never do that, however. The jacket would go on first. Definitely, absolutely and positively!

*chuckle*

Yep she is – for riding a motorbike with only a singlet on.

She takes her jacket off when they arrive. If you see the shot with the motorcycle she is wearing a leather jacket. We support safety – she has a gorgeous leather jacket!

OK – but I don’t think I’ve ever (or ever seen someone else) put helmet on before jacket. Simple reality is you can’t see the zips and stuff. This is such a serious flaw in the direction that I think you should pull the prints and fix it up.

🙂 <– inserted because some readers’ joke detectors don’t seem to function.

PM i think you are thinking of p@rn – which far away is made (financed/directed/produced) by men for men. i watched some alleged ‘girl on girl’ p@rn out of curiosity once and turned it off after 5 minutes, it was so ridiculous and unrealistic!

Nah, Gungahlin Al! You weren’t watching properly. I’m sure she puts her jacket on before she drives off. Take another look.

; )

All lesbian movie nudity is gratuitous, is it not?

any gratuitous nudity ?

It looks to me that both chicks are hot, so should appeal to the usual suspects. Had to get in first.

Now now, Mirage, films like this aren’t about gratifying the desires of male audiences. They’re about relationships and smart stuff and boobies. I mean not boobies, umm…uh…aw, goddammit, I fail.

giggity, giggity, goo

Part of it was filmed at the Pot Belly!

Giddy Up!!

I’d love to check it out. But unfortunately they might not get as much support from the local filmmaking community as they would at any other time of the year, as Lights! Canberra! Action! kicks off this Friday evening, meaning that most filmmakers will be otherwise occupied.

As well as CorinBank, and the Canberra Show .. tough weekend

You’re welcome 🙂 I’m really looking forward to seeing it.

cheers pris. stupid me for not looking at the website!
