ACT Policing’s Crime Targeting Team has arrested a 16-year-old Curtin juvenile following a pursuit last month (Monday, 21 May).

Police will allege that on Monday, May 21, the young person was the driver of a stolen motor vehicle involved in a police pursuit. The young person evaded police and a warrant was subsequently issued for his arrest.

Around 9.45pm last night, the young person was arrested and taken to the ACT Watch House where he was charged with a number of traffic offences. Police expect to lay further charges in relation to four historic burglaries.

The young person will face the ACT Childrens Court this morning where bail will be opposed by police.
