Actually, TEN will be launching a new breakfast and morning show on November 4th, coming from a new, purpose-built studio at Manly Beach and produced by Michael Boland who started Seven’s Sunrise and the Morning Show. They’ve spent millions on this, they’ve even dug a new trench across Sydney with cables to carry the signal.

If that fails they can always fall back on the old Channel Ten standby – Lisa the Vegetarian and Bart vs Australia repeated for the 48675th time.

I’ll give this a go, but only because I hate the other two morning shows. HOWEVER, if that chick really does ask “hey, what’s crackin’? ” as per the ad, I’ll be gone.

I bet Ch 10 could get a morning show for almost zilch from India, the same number of people would probably watch it. Given Australia’s Indian population, they might even get more viewers.

Having watched at least ten minutes of “morning shows” during my life (it only takes about 30 seconds before I have to run out and barf), I think the Indian equivalent would be infinitely more enjoyable.

Is Ten the one that doesn’t have a local morning show, running some cruddy american pseudo morning show. They ought to be shot. Better still, the government should run a tax regime that favors Australian employment and penalizes cheap foreign imports.

Yeah, I know, it’ll never happen but it just goes to show the result a bad investment decision by the buyers of Ch 10, and the subsequent penalties incurred by Australian workers.

End of rant!
