The ARU is no better than the ARL when it comes to picking sides based on player form.

The players who have the best relationship with the coach and can kiss the best ass usually get first dibs.

I’ve defended Robbie Deans up until now. I thought the poor performances weren’t his fault – he just inherited a talentless bunch of guys. In fact, I thought he did well to develop depth in each position through this “rebuilding phase”.

My question is, when are we done rebuilding? I thought by definition, you’d have to stick with a few players, or a small rotation of players in each position. Instead, Robbie is starting again, using Waratahs filth. It’s an absolute disgrace.

I reckon Richard Loe is overestimating our abilities.

The Waratahs, despite finishing in 11th spot on the Super Rugby table and losing their last eight games, dominate the starting side.

Clearly losing 8 (or was it 9?) games in a row justifies the Tahs having the highest representation. Because if the club is rotten, the best thing to do is to ensure that as many of them as possible are able to form the same god-awful combinations that saw them fail so spectacularly. Robbie Deans is supposed to be a good coach, right?
