Lost Cat after Dog attack

Appreciate word of any sightings in Monash or Isabella of my tabby cat Lucy. Went missing down a drain after she was attacked by a dog in Kneeshaw Street this morning around 8.30am.

Animal Services notified (Rangers for attack and lost ad), local vet notified, and ActewAGL kindly emailed drain map for our area. We are still out looking but in case anyone finds her a bit further afield than the few streets near us appreciate if you can let us know or contact our local vet The Gables on 6292 4569.

And before anyone has a go about cats being outside, she’s mainly indoors as she is 14years old, but prefers to take a dump in our front garden bed – we prefer that too. She was only outside a couple of minutes before she was attacked and chased. Sorry no pictures, but MrD1ngo had to go into the fray to break it up.

Good luck!

Thanks Holden Caulfield, your luck worked. 13 hours after the attack a very bedraggled, tired and hungry girl came home. Torn ear and some bumps and scrapes which we’ll get sorted in the morning.

Can I have some more luck for PowerBall tomorrow please?

Awesome news.

I’d like some PowerBall winnings too…

A cat of that age is unlikely to go far. Often a frightened cat wont come out of their hiding spot during the day even if they hear you calling. Try walking around at night and if she eats dry food, take the bag and rattle away. Don’t give up, they can come home weeks later. Maybe leave some food, water and something to sleep on outside in case she comes back during the night.
Good luck, I hope she comes home.
