On Sunday 12/02/12 my house mate lost her dog. She was last seen running towards Old Parliament House from the Corner of State Circle and Kings Avenue around 4:30PM.

She is a Brown Kelpie with a white marking on her chest. Her name is Alley. Alley is shy but friendly and will come if called. She has been micro-chipped for identification.

If found, or if you have any information on her whereabouts please contact me on will.jansen@optusnet.com.au

I have started a twitter account @Alleyislost With tweets of #Canberra have you seen Alley? She has been lost since 12/02/12. Last seen Cnr State Crcl & Kings Ave. #Alleyislost I’d really appreciate it, if people could re-tweet this.

Many thanks,

Will.

Good News everyone! Alley walked through our front gate this morning. She was tired and a little disheveled but happy to be home after an epic week long journey.

Thanks for your suggestions, well wishes and interest.

I was in the OPH Rose Gardens for a function and I remember seeing you come through looking for her. I didn’t see her run through there but it’s a fair sized garden and she could have scooted round the edges or run on the other side of the hedge.

Sad you still haven’t found her and I hope she turns up safe. Good luck in your search!

Hope you find her before Kim Sattler can use her as a scapegoat.

If she’s microchipped and anyone takes her to a vet the register agency will contact you.

Thanks for your reply. The RSPCA, Canberra Connect local Vets and the Micro-chip people have all been contacted. Hopefully she turns up soon.

A start would be to call the RSPCA or Canberra Connect and get onto DAS, or any vets around that area would be good too.

good luck!
