you’re a child bonfire.

Yes I think a flyover is in bad taste.
No the ceremony is not in bad taste.
Comprende?

It’s my friggin ‘O’ mate so unless it’s called for, leave your insults at home.

I find it laughable that you use agressive barbs and inults to keep my opinions in check, and yet talk of the ‘tyranny of fascism’…

ya mungbean.

The event is to commemmorate the sacrifice of thousands of young mens lives in a war against the tyranny of fascism.

You are a sick individual if you think its somehow misguided.

Why dont you piss off and liberate a mungbean.

although bonfire – I would say that ANZAC day is about rememberance.

Fly overs are sadly glorified gross displays of power.

i managed to get some photos in June of the memorial, heres the trackback again…http://the-riotact.com/?p=590

yes, lets float the military is bad canard.

but remember:

‘freedom is not free, but must be purchased and re-purchased with blood and sacrifice’.

i’d rather kids had an understanding of what it took to obtain and preserve their lifestyle than their heads being filled with softheaded claptrap.

Families take their children to the war memorial for these fly overs – gazing with adoration at machines of horrific death and destruction… it’s like taking the lil’uns to see a gun that shoots really fast and makes a loud noise. cool.

nice family day out

The Freedom of Entry will be HMAS Canberra’s last before decommissioning. You can find out more about what this ship has been up to at http://www.navy.gov.au.

Some of the crew are also doing a charity bike ride from Sydney to Canberra (not sure of the dates) to raise money for the children’s ward at Canberra Hospital.
