Do you love living in Tuggeranong?

Are there things you would like to see improved?

Do you want to make a difference in your community?

Tuggeranong Action Group (TAG) is a new grassroots organisation established to advocate and represent the interests of the Tuggeranong Valley. We are proud to live in Tuggeranong, and aim to get locals more actively involved in the decisions affecting our community.

We are looking for volunteers from all backgrounds who are passionate about Tuggeranong life, and would like to join us to plan, lead and support initiatives to foster a greater sense of community pride and spirit, and ensure that our community receives a fair go in decisions made by government.

If this interests you or you would like to know more, please come along to one of our meetings in April to find out more about Tuggeranong Action Group, our plans for 2015, and how you can get involved to improve life in the Valley.

Dont we already have one of these groups?

Yeah, how does this differ from the Community Council?

Glad to see this happening. I will be at the meeting.

Demand a tram line while you’re there.

In fact, I’ll be seeking assurances that tram lines and the ugly wirescape that goes with them never reaches Tuggers.
Trams anywhere are Canberra are simply not needed and not viable. The city was planned for the car and that’s the way it will stay.
Soon, all cars and buses will be electric or hybrid.
Problem solved.
