The reason for the charges being dropped was apparently because the police to a while before questioning whitnesses. The video shows him hitting him, but wasn’t clear enough to show the glass.

Given the lack of detail in the original posting:

Police alleged Andrew John Connors, 28, attacked the off duty guard with a glass in December last year.

The security guard was rendered blind in one eye.

Magistrate Shane Madden said there were significant inconsistencies in the evidence of all of the prosecution witnesses and doubted Connors was the correct defendant.

Speaking of glassings, what the fsck is wrong with people? A young gent I know suffered an unprovoked attack with a stein glass on his way out of Octoberfest (smashed over head than stabbed around the eye and face area) – he required plastic surgery in the following days.

I’m sorry, I don’t mean to be a pedantic grammar nazi…Well, OK, maybe I do.

new’s?? This is a new low.

Op is wrong. Video evidence showed nothing.

You’ll have to source the info in the last sentence in order for it to hold any weight with us kangaroos.
