Man fined for moving horses during EI outbreak

By Thumper - 5 December 2007 3

Thoroughbred News is reporting that a 37-year-old Canberra man caught illegally moving horses under the veil of darkness has been fined $2000 in Queanbeyan Local Court.

Apparently our witless friend used a horse float to illegally move two horses from Murrumbateman in NSW to Victoria on 28 September via a back route near Bombala.

Horse owners can now vent their collective spleens over this total disregard for not only the law, but other peoples property and livelihoods.

What’s Your opinion?

I’m a very generous golfer Vic. At least according to my Tax return anyway.
Mr Evil, there are many generous horse people around too. Go visit the disabled riding groups and then reassess your view.
As for this guy who transported his ponies over the border, he’s a knob who deserves a good KUTA.

Golfers too, Mr Evil.

This is no surprise; most horse owners I have met are also some of the most selfish people I have ever met.
