A man will face court on Friday morning (19 July) charged with an act of endangering life after allegedly choking an 11-month-old baby unconscious last month.

Around 7:10 pm on 1 June, police were called to a Monash home by paramedics who were performing CPR on an unconscious baby.

The child, who police believe was the victim of an assault, was subsequently taken to hospital in an ambulance.

An extensive police investigation into the incident led to the arrest of the 32-year-old man this morning.

The Holt man will face the ACT Magistrates Court charged over an act endangering life and using a carriage service to harass.
