Artisanal liquor producers will have their wines, beers, ciders and spirits available to try and buy at a warehouse sale in Fyshwick this Saturday, in an initiative designed to support boutique brands.

Farrah’s Liquor Collective was founded in 2019 with a commitment to raise the profile of craft producers, and owner Matt Farrah says they deserve to be elevated because the big chain retailers have swamped the market with larger, high profile names.

“We set out to source and stock wines, spirits and craft beers that have been made with passion directly from the producers,” Mr Farrah says. “We pass on the savings to our customers. These are quality products but customers may not know many of the labels of wines, beers and spirits that we stock as they are not on the shelves in the bigger retail stores.”

Mr Farrah said opportunities for craft beer brewers, spirit distillers and wine makers to get in front of consumers are disappearing, but Saturday’s sale will showcase their skills.

“Headlining our spirit tasting we have secured Doug from Whisky Live to take customers through an incredible range of craft spirits from around the world. Doug’s knowledge and expertise in the craft spirit field is unsurpassed and it is a great opportunity to gain knowledge of all things spirit from one of the best spirit judges in the world. Coupled with some of our local Australian distillers this is going to be a fantastic tasting for any lover of spirits.”

Mr Farrah and his team have carefully tasted and selected every single product to make sure they reach a high standard. Wine lovers will also have the opportunity to taste over 50 wines on the day.

“We pride ourselves on knowing every product and making sure the quality is super high but the pricing is awesome value, we save our customers up to 70 per cent off normal retail pricing,” Mr Farrah said.

“Our annual warehouse sale and tasting is a great opportunity to try these amazing products for yourself and try some of these spirits you may never had the opportunity to try before you buy.”

Farrah’s Liquor Collective Annual Warehouse Sale is on Saturday 8 February from 10 am–4.30 pm at Unit 1A, 8 – 20 Townsville St, Fyshwick.

One day only discounts include 15 per cent off any 12 bottles or more of wine, 20 per cent off all 4/6 packs of craft beer and 5 per cent off all spirits.
