ACT Policing has arrested two more people following vehicle pursuits last Thursday (August 2).
Officers from the Criminal Investigations Property Crime Team arrested an 18-year-old Banks man and a 17-year-old Southside boy, after simultaneous search warrants were executed at properties in Banks and Isabella Plains early today (Wednesday, August 8).
Police will allege they were both involved in the theft of a white Mazda Bravo utility and a white Mazda 121 and subsequently involved in pursuits with police last week.
The 18-year-old was a juvenile at the time of the offence. He received Watch House bail and will be summonsed to appear in the ACT Children’s Court at a later date. He is charged with two counts of riding in a stolen motor vehicle.
The 17-year-old will appear in ACT Children’s Court tomorrow charged with one count of drive a stolen motor vehicle. Bail will be opposed.
