ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to an incident at the Florey shops last night (December 22) after two Dominos staff members were assaulted by a group of young people.
Around 10.30pm, two male youths entered the Dominos Pizza store at the Florey shops and stole food and soft drink. Two staff members from Dominos located the two youths and a group of young people near the Florey oval, a short distance away from the shops. The group was eating the food that had been taken from Dominos and agreed to return to the shop to pay for the items.
The group of youths followed the two Dominos staff members to the rear of the Dominos Pizza shop, but as they approached the rear door, the group have forced the two staff members to the ground and repeatedly kicked and punched them. The group of youths fled the area towards Krefft Street.
ACT Ambulance Service attended the Florey shops and treated the two staff members for cuts and abrasions.
The group of about 10 youths is described as being aged between 13 and 16 years.
