Over on the Canberra Times a MeganD (who ones suspects could be Megan Doherty with an admirable degree of distatste for the event) has been forced to ask a bunch of children if they liked Delta Goodrem’s Canberra show. (I was detained at the bootleg sessions at the Phoenix and am comfortable I got a better entertainment bang for my buck).
My favourite was this line:
Taylor Sowry, 10, of Calwell, and mum Tracy, were among the many mums and daughters at the concert.
“She’s a good singer, kind to people,” Taylor said.
And was mum a Delta fan? “I’m more a Metallica fan myself,” she said with a laugh. “But we just think she’s beautiful.”
Yes well, if she’s beautiful what else matters?
